Who provides the service
Nursery Ledger and Chloe for iPhone are provided by Jay Ozer, United States. Contact support@nurseryledger.com for support, privacy requests or questions about these terms. These terms apply to our website, ChatGPT Site, Nursery Ledger plugin and iPhone app. OpenAI’s and Apple’s terms also apply to their respective services.
Adults and authorized caregivers
You must be an adult parent or authorized caregiver with permission to record and share the baby’s information. Use only records you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for the people you invite. Do not share your ChatGPT or Apple account credentials. Each caregiver uses their own account.
A personal care record
Nursery Ledger records everyday care. It is not a medical service, diagnostic tool, treatment recommendation or emergency service. Do not use it for clinical records or health information protected by HIPAA. Care totals and AI responses cannot determine whether a baby is healthy. Consult a qualified clinician for health concerns and use local emergency services for urgent needs.
Your data and choices
You retain your rights in the information you enter. You authorize us and our service providers to process it to operate the features you choose, subject to our Privacy notice. The ChatGPT Site asks for explicit consent before access to care records. You can export records, revoke invited access, withdraw consent, and permanently delete a ledger you own. Withdrawal pauses access but does not delete the ledger. Contact support for account erasure and shared-record requests. The iPhone and ChatGPT ledgers are separate.
AI and saved records
AI can misunderstand speech, infer an incorrect detail or fail to complete a request. Check the saved receipt and correct errors. A conversational response alone is not proof that an entry was saved. Manual Site logging and plugin tools do not require a personal OpenAI API key. The private Site preview separately offers optional model features using a caregiver’s own key; OpenAI API charges and terms apply to that account. Public availability of those optional features is not promised.
Preview availability and payment
The iPhone app is in closed TestFlight beta; the ChatGPT Site and plugin are private previews. Features and access can change, and service can be interrupted. We do not promise an uninterrupted or error-free service. Keep an export of records you need. These terms do not create a paid subscription. Any future purchase will state its price and applicable terms before you agree.
Acceptable use and ending access
Do not attempt to access another family’s records, bypass permissions, disrupt the service or use it unlawfully. We may restrict access when necessary to protect users or operate the service, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the service at any time. Contact support for help exporting or removing your data if access has been restricted.
Changes and your rights
We will update the date on this page when these terms change and provide appropriate notice of material changes. If a new use of sensitive data requires renewed consent, the Site will ask for it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
